Meaning

ja-ma-sisz (JAH-muh-sizz) n. Variant of pajamas. Earliest usage dates to 2005.

So, my dearest friend, Alecia, thought it would be a good idea to explain just exactly what 'jamasisz' were. I don't know why that hadn't occurred to me- a little mystery perhaps? But she is absolutely right. I should explain myself sooner rather than later.

Our son coined the phrase when he was two. Of course, he was trying to say pajamas, but sometimes the words they come up with are better (or as good as) the original. My husband and I loved it and around these parts (ie- our house) they are still referred to as jamasisz.

So! There you have it. Pajamas. Feel free to put on a pair and snuggle up.
